The ministry of energy announced the long-term sale of electricity by increasing exports to Afghanistan, saying Iran would eliminate power plants energy loss in Afghanistan and would try to meet the electricity industry’s demands.

In the 100th anniversary of our Afghanistan independence, Reza Ardakanian referred to Iran’s electricity industry senior managers’ recent trip to Afghanistan said: “ In this trip we made some good agreements in the areas of electricity supply to the border areas, long-term electricity sales with increased exports, meeting the electricity demands of Afghanistan’s electricity industry, power plant maintenance, energy loss reduction and so on.”
